Yes dear! In Germany, you can work part-time while studying to cover your expenses.
A lot of students work part-time jobs to increase their income and obtain work experience. Although there are some limits, international students with student visas who are in Germany can work with their studies.
Your country and the kind of work you’ll be doing may affect the regulations on the number of hours you can work.
International Students work Rules:
· International students on student visa are allowed to work for 280 half days or 140 full days annually. They don’t need any permission of Federal Employment Agency.
· 4 hours of working counts as a half day. 8 hours of working counts as full day.
· Students from Europe and third country students can work 2.5 full days or 20 hours per week during the lecture period.
· In break period, they can work without any limit or restriction.
· During their time at university, international students may also work as independent contractors or perform internships.
· Self-employed work requires the permission of the competent foreigner’s authority.
