Perhaps this is a good news for those international student who want to study in UAE. This would trigger competition between different institutes to capture higher chunk of international students market.
It will led to have lesser admission requirements, especially english proficiency requirement.
According to Khaleej Times "Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the UAE can now establish their own admission criteria. This follows a recent directive from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR).
The flexible approach is designed to boost student enrolment by offering more opportunities for students to pursue academic paths that align with their individual capabilities, better preparing them to meet the demands of the labour market."
I think UAE education sector is heading to compete with western countries such as USA, Canada, UK and Australia. To compete with those countries, UAE needs to improve it’s education system otherwise it will just be a dream and dream with out goals or struggle can shatter anytime.
