Yes dear, I applied for a Post Study Work visa after completing my graduation in the UK, so I have knowledge about this process. I would love to share my experience with you. I can explain you the entire process, costs, and the right time to apply.
How to Apply?
When your documents are complete, you must apply online for a graduate visa on Gov.UK. You will need to submit the following information:
- A current passport or other travel document proving your nationality and identity.
- Your Tier 4 (General) student visa or biometric residence permit (BRP).
- Your Study Acceptance Confirmation.
- A reference number that you received from your educational institution when they extended an offer to enrol you in the course you finished using your student visa.
- If your scholarship or sponsorship source covered your living expenses or course fees within the previous 12 months, a letter confirming your application’s approval.
You will typically receive a decision within eight weeks after submitting your documents, proving your identification, and completing the online application process.
If it takes longer to process your application, you will be notified.
When to Apply?
- You must apply before the expiration of your Tier 4 student visa or student visa.
- You can submit an application once your education provider has informed the Home Office that you have successfully finished the course you were enrolled in with your student or Tier 4 student visa.
- You don’t need to hold off until you’ve received the degree or graduated.
Costs of a Visa
The Graduate Route needs a fresh visa application that may only be submitted from within the UK and includes the following fees:
