Hi, my name is Dure-Sameen and I’m basically from Pakistan. Three years ago, I moved to China for my medical degree. During these three years, I have learned a lot and enjoyed it in many ways. But before I went on this incredible journey, I was extremely afraid to travel overseas. I know that travelling overseas would change my life, and this is what went on:
Independence: Not without purpose, I would say that I gained a “little” bit of independence because I did travel the entire world by myself.
Friendship: I have spent my entire life longing to meet the friends I made while overseas! I am sure that I will always be surrounded by these people. We developed unbreakable connections as a result of our shared experiences.
Crazy Adventures: I mean jumping out of a plane insane when I say “crazy.” During the same week, I fell 15,000 feet from a plane and landed on the stunning beaches.
Budgeting expertise: I learnt money management skills and created weekly budgets to figure out my financial capabilities. Though it was challenging, I managed to make it work. I made purchases of the things I truly wanted to do.
A New Perspective: My perspective on life has entirely changed. I used to take things for granted in my daily life, but after visiting another country, I’ve come to appreciate how fortunate I was to be able to do the things I was.
